Great value
This little gem does everything it says on the box. I was doubtful whether a manual pump action would be as effective as the electric models; but I needn't have worried. It works beautifully. works better than floss, with me. My dentist was very happy that I was using this as well. So far, no problems and I am very happy with my choice.
not worth the money
I bought this as an alternative to dental tape and was very unimpressed. I followed the instructions about how to get the water jet working but was unable to get more than a trickle of water and certainly not enough to clean in between my teeth. Definately a bad buy.
Hand Pump Oral Irrigator
This is a cheap, light weight hand pump oral irrigator. I think that it is reasonably effective but not as good as a powered water spray. Nevertheless, it is relatively small and slim and easily packs in your toilet bag with your tooth brush. The jet nozzle can be detached and stowed inside the water tank for even greater convenience. It does not need batteries or a charger. For travel purposes, it is ideal.
For permanent home use I am thinking of buying one of the better powered water sprays but this is doing fine for the moment.
